The 3rd Surrey Access Walk & Roll takes place Tuesday, May 28 at Crescent Beach.

An initiative of the Self Advocates of Semiahmoo – a group focused on making changes through positive relationships – Surrey Access Walk & Roll aims to raise awareness and bring the community together. Change, organizers have noted in the past, can come from simply bringing an issue into the light.

Last year’s event drew around 250 participants. Organizers hope this year’s turnout will hit 500.

Anyone planning to participate is asked to RSVP at self-advocates-of-semiahmoo.ticketleap.com, then meet at the picnic area near the Crescent Beach pier on event day.
