Residents throughout the Semiahmoo Peninsula got into the Halloween spirit last week.
Among events around town: Ocean Cliff Elementary students carved pumpkins and, as part of its We Scare Hunger campaign, collected 34 boxes of food for the Surrey Food Bank; trick-or-treaters made the rounds at Semiahmoo Shopping Centre;and, members of First United Church’s Adventure Youth Group got in costume to also help raise money for the food bank.
