The White Rock Auxiliary Firefighters will host their Cans 4 Kids event on Sunday.
The firefighters will be on hand with their fire truck Dec. 15 at Buy-Low Foods on Johnston Street and Central Plaza Shopping Mall collecting nonperishable items to support local food banks.
The crew aims to collect more than 500 lb. to donate to those in need.
There will be complimentary coffee and treats.
