Teens, let your imagination loose with stories, poems or comics.
This summer, be creative, have some fun and win cash prizes. Enter a short story, poem, or comic in Surrey Libraries’ 25th Young Adult Writing Contest. Cash prizes will be awarded per category and age group. The contest is open to ages 12 to 18 years.
Entries must be in by Aug. 7.
Short stories must be no longer than 1,500 words, and without illustrations. Poems must be no longer than 36 lines, and without illustrations. Comics must be done in black and white, and between four and seven pages long.
Entry rules and forms are available from any of the Surrey Libraries or on the web at surreylibraries.ca/4944.aspx. There is a $3 fee per entry.
