A Delta-based comedy duo billed as “the internet’s favourite power couple” will bring their No Refunds tour to Surrey next spring.

Live Nation Entertainment has announced a show by Darcy & Jer at Bell Performing Arts Centre on April 26, 2024.

On darcyandjer.com Surrey is listed last among dozens of tour dates across Canada and the U.S. from September to April. Tickets for the Bell show are sold on ticketmaster.ca starting at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 18.

The Darcy & Jer website says Darcy Michael and Jeremy Baer have been together for more than 20 years and currently live in Ladner, where they’re proud dads to daughter Grace and golden retriever Yuma.

On Youtube last April they posted a video tour of their home titled “Get Out of Our House.”

Together they’ve brought their comedy from screen to stage, “spreading their unique brand of joy from coast to coast,” Live Nation says.

After three years of creating content online (“and one fateful day in 2021 when Darcy launched a TikTok account”), the pair have reportedly amassed a combined total of more than five million cross-platform followers with an average of 50 million views per month.

Darcy & Jer are known for comedy videos around their relationship, ADHD, plants, sex and other topics.

“The self-proclaimed ‘accidental TikTok stars’ have cultivated their audience with their incredible sense of humour, joyful personalities, and unique content,” a bio says. “Their lived experience as members of the LGBTQ+ community and navigating the ins and outs of daily life through the candid lens of neurodiversity has allowed them to build an inclusive community that celebrates conversations around mental health, relationships, politics, and living a happier life.”

In 2023 Darcy & Jer debuted their live comedy show at the Just for Laughs Vancouver Festival for a sold-out crowd of 1,200 fans. In addition to their current tour, they’re planning another road-trip series, “Darcy & Jer Do Europe,” due out in spring.
