Fashionable fundraiser

CARP hosts luncheon and fashion show for an all-abilities park in White Rock.

Commentator Deanie Kolybabi introduces ‘fashion model’ Cindy Faulkner at the Panache on Parade luncheon at Morgan Creek Golf Course on May 29.

The event, organized by CARP (formerly the Canadian Association of Retired Persons), was a fundraiser for White Rock’s proposed all-abilities park on East Beach.

Faulkner, the manager of Avalon Recovery Society, a women’s drop-in shelter in White Rock, was joined by several other ‘models’ – local personalities and politicians – at the event’s fashion show.
