Rio 2 will be shown in Holland Park Aug. 9 as part of the Movies Under the Stars series in Surrey.

Get wild at Surrey’s next outdoor movie

Exotic animals will be on site prior to Rio 2 screening in Holland Park.

The next flick to hit the outdoor screen in the ongoing Movies Under the Stars series in Surrey is Rio 2.

While movies start at dusk, there is always entertainment and activities in Holland Park beforehand.

This Saturday (Aug. 9), movie-goers are invited to arrive early and get their faces painted, as well as check out a variety of exotic creatures from Cinemazoo.

Also featured will be live performances by Derrick Fedele and Sung Hang Do Martial Arts Group, as well as a pre-show trivia game, North Surrey Lions 50/50 draw and a fundraising draw supporting the Surrey Christmas Bureau.

This is the tenth year the Downtown Surrey Business Improvement Association has hosted Movies Under the Stars.

The final two movie nights take place Aug. 16 and 23.
