The rehearsal was for a concert to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Surrey Symphony Society, which takes place May 15 at 7 p.m. at the Chandos Pattison Auditorium, 10238 168 St.
Led by retired conductor Lucille Lewis, the concert will be performed by Surrey Youth Orchestras, plus a performance by the Alumni Orchestra. Tickets are $18 for adults and $12 for seniors, students and alumni.
