Naad Festival of Music, Dance and Film takes place Oct. 28 at the Surrey Arts Centre.

The Naad Festival of Music, Dance and Film 2016 takes place Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Surrey Arts Centre, 13750 88 Ave.

This year’s Festival features:

• A tabla ensemble with Akaljot Singh and Satpreet Singh (Tabla) and Baljit Singh (Dilruba)

• A Kathak dance by Mangala Bhatt with classical fusion music by the Naad Fusion Band: Gagandeep Singh (Classical Vocal), Dr. Bruce Harding (Flute), Surinder Khaira (Drum), Amarjeet Singh (Tabla), Coach Sandhu (Guitar) and Baljit Singh (Dilruba).

• The premiere of the short spoken word film “Our Victory,” written by Ajmer Rode and directed by Gurleen Kaur Suri.

The event is presented by Naad Foundation.
