The City of White Rock is reminding residents — and motorists — to be winter-ready.

With snow in the forecast for Sunday through Monday morning, the City of White Rock took to social media to remind drivers to be ready.

"Winter weather can be unpredictable. Here are some essential tips to ensure you and your vehicle are ready for the season," the city tweeted on X, encouraging motorists to ensure their vehicles are in good working order, and to equip vehicles with winter tires and chains if required

It also suggested considering alternatives to driving to work for tasks, such as doing email or online meetings.

The city also advised travellers to check road and weather conditions before driving anywhere, and to reschedule trips if necessary.

Visit the city website for more tips.
