Surrey Police urgently want to locate a missing nine-year-old girl last seen at Bridgeview Elementary School at 11:30 a.m. Monday (Dec. 9), at 12834 115 A Avenue in Surrey.
She is described as a nine-year-old Black female, 4’9”, 97 lbs, with long black curly hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants.
"Surrey Police Service officers are actively searching for (the girl) and have advised surrounding police agencies, first responders and BC Transit," police said in a news release sent at 2:06 p.m. Monday.
"A video canvass is being done around the school and the neighbourhood and police are asking anyone in the area to check their video surveillance or dash cam footage to see if it may have captured where (the girl) may have gone."
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the girl is asked to contact Surrey Police Service immediately at 9-1-1 and quote file number 2024-3094.
