One person was killed and another is in hospital, following a serious morning crash on Highway 10 in Surrey.

2. Surrey Board of Trade's reaction to B.C. budget deviates from mayor's

SBOT's Jasroop Gosal says the 2025 provincial budget has "missed the mark" by failing to support the economy,  but does include some initiatives that should result in "good return on investment" for the economy.

"The important thing to remember… is that we have $180 million in reserves – roughly – but we have a deficit of our infrastructure of $1 billion – so you actually have only 20 per cent on your bank (amount) to be able to address necessities of the community for the next 20 years," says city CAO.
