Editor,

Re: Time for Canada to play hardball with 'Emperor Trump'

I get it. The Peace Arch News is a liberal "progressive" paper.

But surely you must know that it is entirely inappropriate to disseminate calls for violence against your political adversaries. I am still in disbelief you would allow a letter writer to call for the U.S. President's head on a platter "dripping with blood."

Is Trump derangement syndrome clouding your judgment?

I'm sincerely asking you to reflect for a moment on this outrageous comment. Just imagine substituting the President's name with that of a Canadian leader and ask yourself: Would you have published such violent hate?
