Surrey Knights are on the verge of elimination from PJHL junior hockey playoffs after losing three straight to the league-leading Ridge Meadows Flames.
The best-of-seven series shifts back to North Surrey on Thursday (Feb. 27) with the home team trying to avoid a sweep, 7 p.m. puck drop.
So far, the Flames have torched the Knights by scores of 4-0, 5-3 and 2-0, with Brendan Kwan, Bronson Sales and Parkor Sarai scoring for Surrey in last Thursday's loss at North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex.
Game 5 of the series, if necessary, would be played Friday night in Maple Ridge, at Cam Neely Planet Ice.
On Valentine's night, with a double-overtime victory over Langley Trappers, the Andy Liboiron-coached Knights won their first PJHL playoff series since the franchise moved to Surrey nearly a decade ago.
Surrey's dramatic win in Langley set up their series with Ridge Meadows, a team that finished 50 points atop the Knights in the Harold Brittain Conference this season.
