SENIORS SCENE: Expand your culinary skills

Japanese cooking classes offered next month at Kent Street Activity Centre

Japanese cuisine is delicious, healthy and beautiful to look at.

Learn the many ways that you can prepare this diverse food in three courses we are offering during the month of May. Make a colourful party Chirashi Zushi, known as a “scattered sushi” platter, using smoked salmon instead of raw fish, in the colourful party dishes class on May 8. Learn how to make easy, healthy rice bowls, or refreshing summer noodle salads May 15 and May 22. Call 604-541-2199 to expand your culinary repertoire.
