Registration open for numerous activities at Kent Street Activity Centre

Spring courses and day excursions registration has opened for White Rock Leisure Services members, and non-member registration starts Wednesday.

So be sure to peruse the Spring Recreation Guide inside today’s Peace Arch News and check out all of the great things you can do.

If you are over 65 and need assistance with completing your income-tax returns, community volunteers are available to help file your tax returns electronically.

This free service is provided to seniors on low income with simple forms. Just drop off your forms at the Kent Street front desk. Returns that do not meet the criteria will be given back unfiled.

It’s not too late to sign up for the Fraud Awareness workshop on March 13, 9-10:30 a.m. at the White Rock Community Centre.

Learn how to protect yourself from email, Internet, investment and identity frauds. The interactive session will focus on generic examples of different types of frauds with specific things you can do to reduce the chances of becoming a victim.

Purchase 10 or 20 visits on your personalized pass and enjoy the freedom to attend when it works for you.

Drop-in sessions can also be purchased for the Centre for Active Living’s open cardio gym.
