SENIORS SCENE: Stay fit with full slate of autumn fitness classes

The annual Bridge Luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 12:30-4 p.m. – doors open at noon.

• The Computer Club has some interesting talks coming up.

Oct. 17, Terry Ross from Foto Source will be doing a camera talk; Oct. 24, Lynne Kelman from the Crescent Beach Camera Club will be speaking about how to use your camera and will be giving travel photo tips showing slides from a Vietnam and Cambodia trip. Call 604-541-2199.

• Join the Nordic Stride Club.

This brisk activity is for experienced Nordic walkers who can cover five kilometers in one hour. Beautiful fall foliage can be seen on these local walks: 11 a.m. till noon, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

• Silver Blades is back for the 50+ crowd at Centennial Arena.

Lace up your skates every Wednesday and Friday, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Skate and helmet rentals are available. Call the info line, 604-541-2171, for additional skate times.
