The 2024 Concerts at the Pier series kicked off on Thursday night (July 4), headlined by Canadian rock icons 54-40.
Opening for the rock legends were Nadine States with Rob Montgomery, who "smashed it," as reader Christy Fox reports.
States and Montgomery are known for their mix of soul, blues, smooth jazz and classic tunes. Christy sent in some photos of their performance — see a couple of highlights in the gallery above.
The Concerts at the Pier series continues Thursday, July 11 with headliner Crystal Shawanda and opening act Ayotte Paxton. Coming up July 25 it's Arrival, a Canadian ABBA tribute band, and Gaslighter, a tribute to the Chicks.
