Police are on scene of a shooting that occurred in the Tilbury industrial area Monday morning.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 9400-block of River Road at about 10:49 a.m. on March 17, according to a DPD press release issued just before noon.
No one was injured, however officers did locate a vehicle with bullet holes in it. Investigators believe the shooting was targeted.
Police say the suspect — described as a man wearing all black clothing — immediately fled the area.
A previous request for the public to avoid the area has been rescinded, but officers remain on scene as the investigation continues.
