UPDATE: The man reported missing on Sept. 15 has been located deceased, Surrey RCMP reported on Sept. 26. Criminality was not a factor in the man's death, they added. The individual's name and photo have been removed from the story.
A man whose backpack was located near the Alex Fraser Bridge's pedestrian walkway has not been seen since Friday night.
The 27-year-old man was last seen leaving his home on Friday, Sept. 13 on 142 Street and 114 Avenue in Surrey.
He was reported missing on the following Sunday after he did not show up to work that night.
It was earlier that day (Sept. 15) that his backpack was found near the pedestrian bridge on Alex Fraser Bridge.
