Police in Surrey sent out a news release Friday morning (Oct. 18) asking for the public's help in identifying a man in connection to an alleged assault in the summer of 2024.
On July 2, 2024, the Surrey RCMP received a report of an assault that had happened in the 14900-block of 84 Ave. The victim told police she had met the man on social media and "was known to her as David."
Police have been unable to identify him and are asking for the public's help. The suspect is described as Caucasian, in his mid-30's, with a heavy build and brown/red hair. He also has a full sleeve The Simpsons of tattoos on his right arm and a tattoo on his right calf.
