Original story:
Police are asking for the public's help locating a North Delta woman missing for the last several days.
Delta police say the 29-year-old woman was last seen at her North Delta home on Sept. 12 and reported missing the evening of Sept. 14.
Police say the woman had been increasingly withdrawing from friends, family and co-workers over the last several months, and investigators and her family have growing concern for her well-being.
"All conventional investigative avenues to date have not helped in locating [the woman]. Investigators are now asking for public assistance to help locate her," police said in press release Monday afternoon (Sept. 16).
The woman is described as being of Philippine descent, with black hair, a height of between 5’ 3” and 5’ 4” and weighing 95 to 100 pounds. Police say she was likely wearing black jogging pants and a grey tank top when she left her home.
Officers are asking the public to keep a look-out for the woman and, if she is seen or found, to contact the Delta Police Department at 604-946-4411 or their local police of jurisdiction and quote DPD file number 24-17404.
