Police are investigating a report of shots fired at a vehicle in the 12400-block of 64 Avenue in Newton at 1:53 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 13).
“Surrey RCMP responded to a report of male driver in his vehicle who sustained an injury consistent with a gun shot,” Sgt. Martin Neveu said.
The driver was transported to the hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.
Police ask anyone with information, including dash camera footage of the incident, to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502, and quote file number 2023-203334.
