Police in Surrey are asking for the public's help in identifying two people involved in an incident near King George Boulevard and 92 Avenue on April 4 where a woman may have been forced into a vehicle.
Around 9 p.m. on April 4, a man driving a black Dodge Grand Caravan was seen arguing with a female pedestrian. Police believe the two individuals knew each other, but the "woman may have gotten into the vehicle against her will," Surrey Police said in a news release Thursday (April 10).
Police have not been able to identify the two people or locate the vehicle, so they are asking for the public's help. Both individuals are suspected to be in their mid-20s. The woman is South Asian and was wearing a white shirt and black pants. Police did not have any further description of the man.
The black Dodge Grand Caravan has "a distinctive large white paper or sign affixed to the rear passenger-side window," the SPS release noted.
Anyone with information or who might have witnessed the interaction is asked to call Surrey Police Service at 604-599-0502 and quote file 2025-26707 (SP).
