BC Hydro is reporting that 15,095 of its customers in Newton and North Delta were without power Friday afternoon (May 23).
BC Hydro said the power has been off since around 2:45 p.m. due to an "object on our wires. " Power was restored to the area around 4 p.m.
The areas without power are, North of 57TH AVE, West of UPLAND RD, East of 125A ST, South of 76TH AVE, East of KITTSON PKY, West of 127A ST, North of HILLSIDE RD, South of 121A ST, West of 126TH ST, East of HWY 91 , South of 80 AVE, North of REDWOOD PL and East of 119A ST, North of 66TH AVE, West of 128TH ST, South of 81ST AVE.
