A multi-vehicle collision in Cloverdale sent two people to the hospital in serious condition Friday (Nov. 22), police say.

Police in Surrey responded to a report of a multiple-vehicle crash at around 7 p.m. at the intersection of 80th Avenue and 176th Street (Highway 15).

Surrey Fire crew had to extract one of the drivers who was trapped in their car.

"The drivers of both vehicles were transported to a local area hospital in stable condition, with non-life/life-threatening injuries," reads a Surrey RCMP release Friday.

Police say alcohol was not a factor in the collision but that it is still under investigation.
