Police in Surrey responded to a single-vehicle collision on a rural road near Mud Bay Park around 8 a.m. Saturday.
Surrey Police Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton said in an email to the Now-Leader that the black Tesla appeared to have gone into the ditch and flipped onto its roof in the 131A block of Colebrook Road.
The incident is still under investigation, police said.
BC Emergency Health Services Public Information Officer Rachelle Bown said in an email to the Now-Leader, “Two ambulances with primary care paramedics, an ambulance with advanced care paramedics and a supervisor responded to the scene. Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to two patients who were transported to hospital in stable condition."
Posts on social media Saturday morning noted that the incident could be seen by those driving on Highway 99.
