A house fire in South Surrey Wednesday morning was swiftly extinguished, Surrey Fire Service reports.
Fire crews were called to a residence at 16 Avenue and 160 Street t around 11 a.m. a spokesperson confirmed.
Firefighters found four occupants in the building and they were taken by ambulance to Peace Arch Hospital, the spokesman added.
The blaze was quickly put out, the spokesman said, adding that four units and 16 firefighters responded.
Results of a preliminary investigation of the cause were still to be received, he said.
