Recently opened in South Surrey, Suncrest Retirement Community offers a full campus of housing options – independent living, assisted living, respite/recovery and complex care.

It wasn’t that long ago when residents of South Surrey’s Suncrest Retirement Community were reminiscing about mornings spent picking berries followed by afternoons handcrafting jams, pies and other delights, that a fieldtrip was soon arranged. Returning with their bushels of sweet treats, the Independent and Assisted Living residents shared their bounty with friends and neighbours at home and in the adjacent complex care residences, making jam for all to enjoy.

“It’s just one way the team at Suncrest does things a little differently. We pride ourselves on thinking a little outside the box,” says Darlene Henry, Recreation Director.

“Our goal is to incorporate residents’ interests in our program planning so their leisure interests are part of the monthly calendar of events.”

Recently opened in South Surrey, Suncrest Retirement Community offers a full campus of housing options – independent living, assisted living, respite/recovery, and complex care.

While each has its own distinct features, all enjoy the same welcoming environment.

Having all three levels of care in one location means that as residents’ care needs change, the care they receive can also change without the need to move to a new residence. And if a couple requires different levels of care, both are at home here.

Suncrest Retirement Community includes one- and two-bedroom independent and assisted living suites, up to 735 sq.ft., with a separate complex care wing of 55 suites. Fully furnished respite suites are also available. All residents, regardless of the level of care, have the benefit of professional staff around the clock and monitored in-house medical alert and in-suite emergency call system.
