Emergency crews were called out to a yet another crash in just a few days along the same stretch of Highway 1 in Chilliwack.

Around 4:45 p.m. on Monday (Nov. 11) responders were called to a rollover collision eastbound on the highway, east of Annis Road.

When crews arrived on scene, they reported there was a red Dodge SUV in the ditch. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and they claimed not to be injured.

It was at least the third incident east of Annis Road, in or near an area known as the S-curves, since Nov. 8.

A semi-truck crash Friday morning (Nov. 8) shut down all four lanes after the trailer overturned and was across the highway for hours.

A police incident on Sunday evening (Nov. 10) resulted in police shutting down the highway after there were reports of a man with a weapon. He was taken into custody.

Unlike the previous two incidents, Monday's crash did not shut down the highway.
