White Rock needs careful, planned growth as many commercial and multi-family buildings are aging. Replace them without exceeding allowable height by streamlining permitting and partnering with other levels of government to reduce costs. Support staff to improve the service experience for residents. Increase communication about city initiatives. Start an initiative to improve Marine Drive storefronts. Encourage “placemaking” by local artists to bring character to city spaces. These will be focal points for my second term.
