Cyclist sustains ‘serious injuries’ in South Surrey collision: RCMP

A cyclist was injured after being struck by a vehicle in South Surrey Saturday afternoon.

Police announced soon after that initial indications were that the cyclist – described only as an adult male – sustained serious injuries.

Tuesday morning, police said only that the incident remained under investigation and no further information would be released.

According to a news release, Surrey RCMP were called out to a collision at the intersection of 154 Street and 32 Avenue at around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

The eastbound lanes of 32 Avenue were closed between 152 Street and 154 Street into the evening, and traffic was also closed at the intersection of 28 Avenue and 156 Street.
