Death not suspicious

Police say no foul play suspected after body found near Highway 99

Surrey RCMP said they are not suspecting foul play after a body was discovered near the King George Boulevard and Highway 99 intersection on Saturday.

Residents reacted to the police presence on Facebook Saturday evening, saying there were police below and above the King George Boulevard bridge at Highway 99.

Surrey RCMP Cpl. Scotty Schumann told Peace Arch News Monday that the death is not suspicious.
