Delta Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle believed to be involved in a shooting in North Delta earlier this year.

On Oct. 24, police responded to reports of shots fired at Elite Auto Spa, located at 9215 120 St. (at the corner of 92nd Ave). On scene, police found an adult male who had sustained a gunshot wound to his lower body.

The victim, who police described as a 25-year-old South Asian male, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Although the victim refused to cooperate with their investigation, police are confident the shooting was targeted.

As a result of their ongoing investigation, Delta Police are looking for a blue 2011 Toyota Corolla with B.C. license plate AS3 54D. Police believe the vehicle, which has since been reported stolen, may have been abandoned on the side of the road, in a parking lot or in an underground parkade.

Anyone with information that would assist in locating this vehicle is asked to call the Delta Police at 604-946-4411 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
