Designs for White Rock’s town centre perused

A public meeting Tuesday showcased conceptual designs for White Rock's town centre.

White Rock residents got a final look at conceptual designs for the city’s town centre Tuesday, during a public meeting at the White Rock Community Centre.

Ron and Sandy Powell were among those who dropped by the two-hour opportunity. For the couple, inclusion of a grocery store in the plans was important.

The designs – which are the result of a two-day charette that took place in April, and feedback gleaned during public meetings – are to be presented to council Monday.
