White Rock has a new top cop.

Staff Sgt. Daryl Creighton arrived at the seaside detachment two weeks ago, after transferring from his previous post as staff sergeant at Ridge Meadows RCMP.

Creighton took over the White Rock helm from Staff Sgt. Lesli Roseberry.

Roseberry – who started in White Rock in March 2009 – now heads the West Kelowna RCMP detachment in Winfield; the move was never announced publicly.
