Surrey RCMP say two children and one adult suffered minor injuries in a collision on 184 Street in South Surrey Monday morning that left the vehicle they were travelling in upside-down.

Motorists along the thoroughfare were re-routed for just over two hours following the incident, which occurred at approximately 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of 40 Avenue, and involved a Honda Fit and a Ford F150.

According to police, the Honda was westbound on 40 Avenue, the Ford was southbound on 184 Street, and the Honda came to rest on its roof in a ditch on the southwest corner.

At least three ambulances were dispatched to the scene.

The roads were reopened at approximately 9:30 a.m. Investigation is ongoing.
