Surrey RCMP investigating a robbery at Westminster Savings in South Surrey released photos of a man sought in connection with the crime.

Surrey RCMP investigating the robbery last week of Westminster Savings in South Surrey have released photos of a man sought in connection with the crime.

The incident occurred around 12:15 p.m. July 13, at the 1608 152 St. financial institution.

No weapon was produced and no one was injured, however, the suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

He is described as a five-foot-10, 200-pound man, approximately 25 years old, with tattoos across the knuckles of his left hand. He was wearing a dark-coloured New York Yankees hat with pinstripes, a grey/beige-coloured shirt with “G Unit and Co” across the back, grey shorts and white shoes.

“Good surveillance photos were obtained and we are hopeful someone will recognize the suspect,” Cpl. Scotty Schumann said in a statement issued July 23.
