Surrey RCMP are investigating a five-vehicle collision that sent four people to hospital on Saturday.
The crash occurred mid-afternoon at the intersection of 140 Street and 78A Avenue.
A male occupant of a white minivan, the most seriously injured of the four, was removed from his car after its roof was cut away by firefighters.
A fifth vehicle hit was reportedly parked and unoccupied.
