A service will be held for Maple Batalia this weekend in Delta.

Batalia will be memorialized Saturday at 11 a.m. at Riverside Funeral Home and Crematorium at 7410 Hopcott Rd. in Delta.

Batalia was gunned down Wednesday, Sept. 28 at a parkade beside SFU where she was studying late.

A memorial site has been started on Facebook, with more than 12,000 followers.

The actress and model was 19 when she was killed.

The public is welcome to attend the service.
