South Surrey/White Rock goes to the polls

Voters have until 8 p.m. tonight to make their choices count

The race has begun.

After a month of campaigning and political posturing, Surrey and White Rock residents will select the provincial candidates, and political flavour, they feel best represents themselves and their community.

Surrey’s nine ridings have attracted 39 candidates in total – including seven candidates to the newest riding, Surrey South. Other constituencies in Peace Arch News’ readership area include Surrey-White Rock, Surrey-Panorama and Surrey-Cloverdale.

Voting locations have been open since 8 a.m. this morning and will stay open until 8 p.m. There are dozens of voting stations in Surrey and White Rock, which can be found here.
