Police are treating the death of a 'younger person' whose body was found in the 14600-block of 66 Avenue Tuesday evening as suspicious.

A body was found near 146 Street and 66 Avenue Tuesday evening

Officers with Surrey RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit are investigating following the discovery of an “unresponsive younger person” Tuesday evening.

Police were called to the 14600-block of 66 Avenue at approximately 7 p.m. Sept. 16.

Police were not commenting on the case this morning, but did say they are treating the death as suspicious.

The exact cause of death is unknown and the identity of the deceased has not been confirmed.
