UPDATE: Surrey RCMP announced Tuesday afternoon that a man missing since Feb. 16 has been found.
"Surrey RCMP advises that Michael FONTAINE, the 62 year old male was reported missing on February 16th, has been located and is safe," a news release sent shortly after 3 p.m. states.
"Thank you to the public, media, and our policing and community partners for their assistance."

Surrey RCMP are re-issuing an appeal for help locating a South Surrey man missing since Feb. 16.
Police said Monday afternoon that the concern for the health and well-being of Michael Fontaine, who takes medication for a health condition, is growing.
Fontaine, 62, is believed to have left his home in the 2000-block of 156 Street sometime between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Feb. 16 and has not been heard from since.
It's also believed he does not have his medication with him.
Fontaine's family told police it is unusual for him to be away from home this long, and he's likely on foot, as he doesn't like public transit.
Search-and-rescue crews scoured the area over the weekend, to no avail.
Fontaine is described as five-foot-10 inches tall, 165 pounds, with blue eyes, glasses, grey hair and a grey scruffy beard. He walks very slowly, is unstable on his feet and uses a burgundy wood cane.
He is believed to have been wearing black or grey sweat pants, a black vest and black or grey hoodie, and blue slip-on shoes.
