* Surrey RCMP have confirmed William Davidson has been found safe. *
RCMP in Oceanside are assisting the Surrey RCMP to help locate a 68-year-old man who failed to return home on Sunday.
William Davidson left Surrey last Thursday (April 26) with a female friend named Kim (no other information about Kim is known). Davidson contacted family members two days later and told them he'd be coming home on April 29.
To date, he has not returned.
Police believe Davidson was last seen in the Coombs area, northwest of Parksville.
He may be traveling in a grey 1991 Mazda pick-up truck, licence plate BY9438.
