UPDATE: Missing White Rock 12-year-old located

Girl reported missing Saturday afternoon found 'safe and sound,' RCMP say.

A 12-year-old White Rock girl who was reported missing Saturday afternoon has been found “safe and sound,” police say.

Police appealed for the public’s help in locating the girl, after learning Saturday that she hadn’t been seen since the previous afternoon.

A news release issued at 5:40 p.m. today thanked the public for their assistance.
