More than three dozen volunteers organized by the White Rock and Surrey Naturalists gave the Nicomekl riverbank a much-needed cleanup last week.
The group spent four hours removing garbage – including 3,000 lbs of styrofoam – from 1.3 kilometres of sensitive shoreline.
