A man in his 30s entered a Newton home and tried to undress a sleeping woman

He entered her Newton home and tried to undress her while she slept, and now Surrey Mounties are on the hunt for the man.

On Sept. 24 between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., a 21-year-old woman was asleep in her home in the 7800-block King George Boulevard when she was awoken by a man trying to undress her.

He fled after startling her.

The man is described as a dark-skinned male, in his 30’s- 40’s, approximately 6’0” tall, with a large stomach, large hands, no facial hair and short, dark brown hair,  He was believed to be wearing black boots.

Investigators are asking for public assistance in identifying the man.
