Police are on the hunt for a brazen teenage thief, following a noon-hour break-in that occurred while the home’s female resident was in the shower.
White Rock RCMP Sgt. Roland Pierschke said police were dispatched to the 15000-block of Columbia Avenue Monday after a woman discovered items had been taken from her home while she showered.
The woman told police she “thought she heard something,” then found that her Toshiba laptop, two watches and a leather money clip were missing.
The home’s door had been left unlocked.
A roofer working nearby told police he saw a teenager leave the scene on a black BMX. The suspect is described as a 15- to 16-year-old Caucasian. He had a thin build, stood about 5’8” tall and was wearing a black hoodie.
