1. NOTICE OF WAIVER OF A PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of White Rock has waived a Public Hearing for proposed White Rock Zoning Bylaw, 2012, No. 2000, Amendment (RS-1 Zone to CD-69 Zone, 15439 Oxenham Avenue) Bylaw, 2022, No. 2454 in accordance with section 464(2) and 467 of the Local Government Act.

PURPOSE: This application proposes to rezone the property at 15439 Oxenham Avenue from ‘RS-1 One Unit Residential Zone’ to a property-specific Comprehensive Development (CD) zone, modelled around the RT-1 (duplex) stock zone, to allow for the construction of a duplex on the property. Except for the minimum lot area, the subject property meets all other lot requirements of the RT-1 stock zone.

PURPOSE: The proposed bylaw amendment revises an earlier application rezone the subject property. This bylaw amendment is for a development application which proposes to rezone the site from the One Unit Residential Zone (RS-1) to a Comprehensive Development (CD-63) Zone, in order to redevelop the site for a 1.47 FAR, 47 unit (plus 3 lock-off units), 3 storey townhouse development on the subject property.
