IVERSEN, Aage Dalsgaard

Aage Dalsgaard Iversen died peacefully with his children at his side, on December 28th after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 50 years, Grethe and loving children, Karin, John (Tammy), and Paul (Jacque). He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Kristopher, Brianna, Chelsea, Lisa, Joel, Jesse and Jordan who adored him. Dad was a much loved and respected man who always made time for everyone, especially the grandchildren. He had endless patience; only Dad could play chess with a six year old and really enjoy it. Dad had an amazingly positive attitude and always found something good to say. We will all miss him terribly.

Dad was born on April 6, 1927 in Ostrup, Denmark and immigrated to Canada in 1952. He is also survived by his brother Ejnar (Martha) in Sardis and brothers and sisters in Denmark and Sweden. Dad was dedicated to his church, Granly and made many good friends there. Dad's in a better place, in the arms of the Lord. May he rest in peace. A heartfelt thank you to the special nurses in palliative care at Peace Arch Hospital. There will be a memorial service at Granly, 9243 152 Street, Surrey on Sunday, Jan. 6th, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Granly.

We love you Morfar, Farfar,

Dad and friend!
